Features
What SmartCVI does today.
Catalogue-driven form engine
Report forms for echo, CMR and stress protocols are defined in a YAML configuration catalogue — attributes, layouts, reference ranges, visibility rules. Hospitals adapt forms without touching code, and every change is versioned.
Automatic measurement import
DICOM Structured Reports and header tags are parsed on arrival and mapped to form fields. Machine values stay provisional until the reading physician confirms them — you are always in control of the final report.
Live calculation engine
Derived metrics — indexed volumes, ejection fraction, synthetic hematocrit and ECV, and more — are computed automatically with precise decimal arithmetic and dependency resolution, both in the browser and on the server.
Visual widgets
AHA-16/17 bulls-eye plots for wall motion and parametric mapping, stress-echo stage matrices, and coronary tree diagrams — rendered in the form and embedded into the final PDF report.
Traceability by design
Finalized studies are frozen as immutable snapshots with the exact form version, values and reference ranges used. Every finalize, unlock and edit is recorded in an append-only audit log.
Optional AI assistance
Self-hosted, on-premise AI scribe (speech → structured findings) and text refinement — running on your own GPU server, never a cloud service. Every AI feature is optional, flag-gated and physician-reviewed.
Research & export
A cohort query engine over structured values, pseudonymized CSV export, and DICOM export to folders or network shares — with anonymization built in.
Multilingual
The interface and report templates support multiple languages (English, Polish, Spanish), with per-user language preference.
